Auguste Serrure Belgian (1825-1903
Auguste Serrure is an anecdotal painter well-known for his genre-scenes. He was a pupil of the celebrated artist Ferdinand De Braekeleer at the Academy of Antwerp. He exhibited at the Salon of Antwerp in 1861, the Salon of Brussels in 1863-1864, and in London in 1874.
